Platinum List: 11-20

For reference, I will repeat what the time stamps mean on each list so you aren't confused:
  • Dawn - 12 AM to 5:59 AM
  • Morning - 6 AM to 9 AM
  • Midday - 9:01 to 1:59 PM
  • Afternoon - 2 PM to 5:59 PM
  • Evening - 6 PM to 9 PM
  • Night - 9:01 PM to 11:59 PM

A really creepy pasta Mundi P&C. You're a detective again but a different one who is investigating the disappearance of a little kid's mother. Lots of circus-themed motifs as well as dual dimensions.

Yes, this game took me a day to complete because I screwed up a lot and had to restart the game from the beginning four times and I rage-quit after my third failure and left the game for 12 hours. :(

Nevertheless, this game is a nice game that starts a series set in a medieval fantasy setting. And it has a brown bear in it. I wonder how they got a trained bear to stand still to be planted with motion capture tech. (Then again, they motion-captured a live lion in Dark Arcana! Or not, I might be BSing my mouth off here.)

There is a reason these two games took so long - I was working on both of them at the same time. ;)

This is probably my favorite Mundi P&C series, and they need to put the final installment out soon! Guess I am just a sucka for pirates. ^_^

Another boring walking simulator, though the atmosphere is very esoteric. I won't spoil anything but the light shows are something to play the game for even if you never platinum the game. Most of the trophies are easily missed because you wouldn't think to do them in a casual playthrough.

When a European company created linking plastic colored blocks, they never expected these blocks to turn into an international sensation which would engulf almost every fiction franchise in the world, even old stories like Lord of the Rings. ;)

LEGO games get a lot of bad rap for being stupidly easy. I am here to debunk that myth right now. If you want to get any platinum in a LEGO game, brace yourself for a huge time sink because you'll need to usually grab EVERY collectible in a LEGO game.

I've platinumed LEGO Lord of the Rings but this game is a bit easier. The loot gathering system is something new and fits the Middle Earth theme, though it is very difficult to get the required loot until you get near the end of the game. In LEGO Tolkein games, you have to collect Mithril Bricks to forge items to trade in for Red Bricks, so expect to be in stud poverty for most of the game.

Sadly, this game's story ends prematrurely because they didn't get the movie rights to the Desolation of Smaug, which is sad because LEGO Smaug is really cool!

LEGO City is an OP of the company that is pretty popular, and I loved the story of Chase McCain the policeman coming back home after a two-year self-exile. However... this is the longest game I platinumed(and I got the platinum for this account and an earlier one which took me a week!) because you have a huge city to explore and each part of it has a ton of various collections you have to accrue. This game is quite the challenge but if you want something to do for a month, this is the game for you. I enjoyed the game immensely but playing this game at my parent's house while watching over five energetic dogs is enervating.

(For those wondering why I used the platinum icon for the second banner, it's because the screenshot I have for this is not very good.)

Having toured London's downtown district when I was younger (okay, I was supposed to be on a bike tour of Europe but I wasted all of my spending money and ended up missing a turn and getting lost for 12 hours which got me sent back home ;_;) I appreciate Great Britain and its characters a lot more than the usual Harry Potter fan. Despite all of the slash fanfics hooking up Harry with Draco and hentai on the net, I still have faith in J.K. Rowling's magical reality where wizards hide their secrets from the No-Majs/Muggles/non-magical people of the world.

And despite no voice acting, these two games relay the movies(yes, nobody would think to do a LEGO game based on the actual BOOKS) very well. The story levels are split up by book and, as expected, the second game splits the final book into two parts based on the movies. There are issues with the first game but nothing too bad.

Also, these games are the updated HD PS4 Harry Potter LEGO Legacy collection, which is nothing more than ports of the game with some bug fixes and slightly better graphics. Now that I no longer have a PS3, I have to make do with what I can. I bought this off of PSN for cheap. $60 is not a good price for two games that are several years old.

Speaking of PS3 games...

Everyone who starts a new account gets a 7-day free trial of PS Now, a streaming service that lets you play old games off of a computer server owned by Sony. For PS Now, you get to stream old PS4 games and many ancient PS3 games. Sadly, I couldn't get any screenshots for my banner so I had to 'borrow' something I Googled. Don't look at me like that! :(

I've platinumed this game several times and I love it. I wasn't a big fan of Batman after I grew up from the comic age, and I will never touch the Arkham series, but the LEGO Batman games are pretty nice. LEGO Batman 2 is the first game I know which has VOICES in them, and whoever they hired for the voice acting should get bonus pay because they are EXCELLENT.

Of course, this isn't my first LEGO Batman game...
