Platinum List: 1-10
I will be archiving my platinum trophies in groups of ten. This will make it easier for me to catalogue them, so enjoy the first list! The trophies will be chronicled as such:
My platinum journey begins with the game that has been platinumed by almost everyone with an account. To be honestly fair, this wasn't really a game in the entertainment sense as it was a school project for some Hispanic university. I appreciate how higher education uses stuff like this to encourage critical thinking and this game could have just stayed in the school, but to see it played by everyone in the world shows how popular it is. The game has an unofficial sequel where you have more of an adventure game feel, but I haven't seen it on any PS4 lists so I guess they decided not to distribute it, which is a shame since this game seems incomplete.
So yeah, despite how hard I tried not to, the $0.99 price stamp for this non-game was too much to resist. On the plus side, you can get the platinum in under 30 minutes if you have fast fingers.
Another easy platinum if you use a guide. I am never going to play any other game in the Hitman series, so Agent 47's influence on my account will only be as a plastic pawn. Sorry, Agent 47. I know you have a deep backstory (spoiler: He's a clone) but I'm very adverse to killing actual people. (That's why I am not into the Assassin's Creed series either.)
There is a Tomb Raider movie coming out. Unfortunately, I never got into Lara Croft, even her really huge cleavage back in the old days. And yes, I am a man so technically I should be all over that. :p
I did like the giant snake, though. Snakes are my favorite reptile. ^_^
Nothing to say here, it's even easier than Hitman GO because you can use hints and only need a guide for the collectible treasures.
The easiest of the Artifex Mundi P&Cs, because they forgot to include a bonus chapter. Also, alchemy is really really cool.
This is the Artifex Mundi P&C that got me into the company. Set in a steampunk universe, you play as a woman who is helping her uncle investigate strange earthquakes. Giant robots are involved.
(Oh yeah, you play as a girl in every Artifex Mundi game. Nice touch. ^_^)
You play as a detective in this Artifex Mundi P&C. Sadly, the title is misleading - not a spectral drop of any ghost is seen in this title. :(
The reason I am not being descriptive is that these games are really easy to platinum, you just have to complete two playthroughs - one in Expert mode without skipping any puzzle or using any hint on a hidden-object puzzle and one in Casual to make the puzzles easier.
A break from the Artifex Mundi machine, this game is very poignant and serene. The puzzles are just throwing light orbs into stuff. There is also a trophy which requires you to have your PS4 set on a certain day of the week to trigger something in the game so it's very missable. Short and sweet.
And jellyfish, lots of jellyfish.
Back to Artifex Mundi. You will hear me harp on about this company a lot. This company's games are computer PC titles that are ported onto the PS4. There are a zillion more PC titles, though. I strongly suggest you check out their site to see how many more PC titles they have, all with in-game achievements which the trophies for the PS4 titles are ripped from: https://www.artifexmundi.com/
Ravens are hereby my favorite bird. This title makes them evil and continues the over-arching plot of the first game involving the archdemon and his Satanic cult. :D
And that's it for the first 10 platinums in my cabinet! I hope you enjoyed the list.
- Their name and
platinum icon(only did the icon for the first game after finding that the titles sometimes crowd the entire line)
- What day and the period of time they were earned - since exact times can vary due to the clock, I decided to just focus on periods of time. Here is the range of times each period refers to:
- Dawn - 12 AM to 5:59 AM
- Morning - 6 AM to 9 AM
- Midday - 9:01 to 1:59 PM
- Afternoon - 2 PM to 5:59 PM
- Evening - 6 PM to 9 PM
- Night - 9:01 PM to 11:59 PM
- How fast I completed them based off of the PSNProfiles archive.
A short summary of my feelings for the game and my ratio of difficulty to fun.(Decided to not do this, it would take forever to update my blog if I rated every game.)
